T-shirts and apologies, koozies, THANKS and "Let's party!"

This blog's for you...

Well folks, the T-shirt order is in and we are already sold out of pocket T's due to a problem with the order. I sincerely aplogize in advance for those of you who wanted one and don't get one. But, the good news is that next years shirts will be available to order on the web. Hopefully, this will help.

We do have $10 short sleeved and $20 long sleeved available and they will be sold on Friday night and Saturday. Again, I apologize in advance for those of you who look for t-shirts for sale and we are sold out. The problem is that we can never know for sure how many to get and if we'll get stuck with 'em. Once again....next year, we will PRE-ORDER on the web.

On a lighter note...there will be some band t-shirts for sale on Friday night that you may like if you don't get a run shirt. And there will be koozies!!

We once again thank everyone for all of their help. (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!) We couldn't do it without you. We are looking forward to a fun and safe weekend. And as Louis would say..."Let's party!!"

Hi gang, just a reminder that we will go over last minute details and bring our raffle items to Steve's Place on Thursday, March 6 at 7:00 pm. If you want to help, we would be more than happy to have you!!! And once again THANKS to everyone. It wouldn't be possible without you!!

More on the 2008 Louis Memorial Run

This year's memorial run ought to be a blast! We are hosting live music the night before with the "Apehangers Ball" featuring the music of "Green Whiskey and the Rocket Pig" and a "special musical guest".

The venue is Fernando's in Hare, TX. Just a hop, skip, and jump from Thorndale down Hwy 79. Turn right on FM 1063 toward Hare. Just before 1331, Fernando's is located on the left. If you want to stop at STEVE'S PLACE at 111 W. Salty in Thorndale, they will be happy to direct you or call 512-898-2575.

As in years past, there will be t-shirts and koozies for sale and free food at the end of the run. We will have a raffle this year to supplement the proceeds for the Mike McCoy Family.

Mike was a good guy. He passed away last year leaving a wife and 3 children. The members and hosts of the Louis Run are proud to be able to give to those who need it most. Every year it seems there is a worthy cause and we are honored to be able to help.
